This is our most critical fundraising position and requires volunteers that can market an Annual Giving Campaign throughout the year, track fundraising goals and create incentives for donations from parents, families and our community to fund resources, events and supplies for the Dana and Correia students
The PR/Comms Chairperson is the lead contact for all communications between both Dana and Correia and FoDaC. Under this umbrella there are several Co-Chairs controlling the many different platforms we use to disseminate information to all parents and families:
Our volunteer coordinators will work to manage parent volunteers for events or for staff needs on campus... Ideally we have two parents in this position, one representing Dana and the other representing Correia. Each campus will have it's own needs at any given time. This position will work with school site, event committees and those who sign up to volunteer at school or at an event.
Another chance at planning a party! This event is all about welcoming Dana and Correia teachers and staff back to school. A great opportunity to work with a friend or a small group. This event will also have a budget for "continental-style" breakfast items, drinks, pastries and all necessary serving items. Chairperson and volunteers will purchase items within the budget, set up & break down the event.
The Logo Wear team is responsible for creating designs, purchasing, selling and coordinating online inventory for all logo wear and designs for both Dana and Correia. This is a great place for someone with graphic design experience and time to collaborate behind the scenes, with occasional sales on school campus and at school events
This position involves community engagement to schedule monthly "Family Dinner Nights" out in our Point Loma community. Many local businesses and restaurants will donate a portion of their sales back to our organization! You will schedule these fun events and create flyers for their promotion through our school eblasts, newsletter and this website
Outdoor movies under the stars... who doesn't love that? This position involves coordinating two outdoor movie events on the Dana campus that are open to all Dana and Correia students & families. Typically there is one movie night in the fall and another in the spring. Setting up vendor sales, snacks, drinks, band performances, movie selection, logo wear sales and whatever else suits your fancy! This will require a committee of several volunteers and a lead chairperson or two to pull off
This position involves coordinating a unique experience for parents ONLY! This is a great opportunity for someone that is budget minded and likes to plan a big party, right down to the last detail, while also keeping FUNDRAISING as the main goal of the event. All ideas are welcome, from Casino Nights to Silent Auctions... the more creative the better!
This is a great position for someone that likes to plan a party! You will coordinate with Dana Administration & Counselors for the date and time to hold an informal Welcome Breakfast for new parents and families of 4th grade students that are planning to attend Dana in the fall. Typically, we provide a budget for "continental-style" breakfast items, drinks, pastries and all necessary serving items. Chairperson and volunteers will purchase items within the budget, set up & break down the event.
Show your love for our Dana & Correia teachers, staff and administration! This position requires a bit of planning and is a LOT of fun! Being budget minded, you will put together a week's worth of appreciation, something special for every day of the week! Sweet treats, breakfast bars, candy carts, boxed lunches and taco carts are just a few examples... be as creative as you like! Great to join forces as a group so, recruit some friends to help!
