Volunteer with FoDaC
Our schools thrive because of families like yours. Whether you have an hour or a whole day, there's a place for you.
FoDaC runs entirely on the energy of parent and community volunteers. From setting up events to helping in classrooms, every contribution makes a real difference for students at Dana and Correia middle schools.
Ways to Get Involved
Event Support
Help set up, run, and break down school events like dances, fundraisers, and community nights.
Classroom Help
Assist teachers with projects, field trips, and special activities throughout the school year.
Committee Work
Join a FoDaC committee — grants, communications, events, or fundraising — and help shape our programs.
Fundraising
Support our annual giving campaign and help us reach our goals so we can fund more student programs.
Volunteering at the Schools
San Diego Unified School District has its own volunteer program with background check requirements and registration steps for anyone who wants to volunteer on campus. Visit the SDUSD Families site to learn about the process, required forms, and how to get cleared to volunteer at Dana or Correia.
