Friends of Dana and Correia is hosting an exciting new fundraising event just for 7th and 8th graders at Correia Middle School: Battle of the Bills, a friendly fundraising showdown between our 7th- and 8th-grade teams. This event puts a rock-n-roll twist on penny wars and gives students multiple ways to help their grade earn points, raise money for the school, and maybe even win the Battle of the Bills!
How It Works

Earn points and prizes
Collect online donations to earn points and prizes — 1 point per cent donated.

Sabotage!
During Cash Sabotage (November 9–13), donate non-penny cash to the rival team for negative points: −1 point per cent in non-penny cash. Pennies (if you can find them) are still positive points, so be sure to put them in the correct container.
Cash donations do not count toward individual prizes.
What Students Win
Students earn personal prizes for engagement and online donations, as well as points for their grade. The grade with the most points at the end of the fundraiser wins a week of school-based “perks”!

Every dollar raised goes directly toward funding vital student programs, classroom resources, and school events that the district budget doesn’t cover.
