Dana & Correia Middle Schools

Volunteering at the Schools

To volunteer on campus, San Diego Unified requires a screening process. Here’s where to start at each school, and the forms you may need.

There are several different SDUSD volunteer forms depending on the level and type of volunteering you plan to do. Not everyone needs all of them. Each school has its own starting point, and they’ll tell you which forms apply to you.

The two schools handle the first step differently.

Dana Volunteer Screening Form

Dana uses an online screening form that walks you through the process and tells you which of the documents below you need for the type of volunteering you want to do.

You’ll be asked to sign in to a Google account to open the form.

All parents and guardians of current students are invited to volunteer onsite. Correia doesn’t use an online form — reach out to Hilda Hernandez to get started.

Correia also publishes a Quick Guide for parents and families, linked below.
