Employees and eligible donors can submit their matching gift requests through Microsoft’s CSR portal.

Employees use Wells Fargo’s dedicated giving portal to request matching gifts — login requires company credentials (YourCause platform).

Verizon uses the CyberGrants platform for corporate matching gifts.

Apple employees can submit matching gift requests through Apple’s Benevity CSR platform.

Boeing employees also submit through CyberGrants.

The standard match is $1 for $1. If an employee also meets one of the two criteria, the first $1,000 donated is matched at a 2:1 ratio (effectively tripling the donation):

• Serve on a nonprofit board
• Volunteer more than 50 hours in a year

Maximum matching gift amounts vary by position ($1,000 for part-time employees to as much as $15,000 for full-time employees.

Employee and director-level donations can be matched at a 2:1 rate; retirees, at a 1:1 rate.

CarMax matches donations to nearly every type of nonprofit. In addition to their 1:1 match on all donations, the company also offers a generous volunteer grant program. Matching gift request must be submitted within 180 of the initial contribution.
